Tutorial 5. Keyword Search

You can enter keywords which you want to search here (see Tutorial 1).
- If you enter more than one word in the textbox, the system will find information which contains all the keywords together in it.

The search results are categorized by Proteins, Interactions, References, Pubmed, and PIE the search.
- Proteins tab shows all the proteins containing the keywords in their name or UniprotKB IDs. If you click the searched protein, detailed PPI information will show.
- Interaction tab gives all the interactions between proteins containing the keywords, if you enter two keywords.
- References tab displays all the publications in?TRIP Database?which contain the keywords in their content including PMID, title, source, authors, or abstract. If you click the searched article, detailed information on the article will show.
- Pubmed tab gives the Pubmed search result using the given keywords on the fly.
- PIE the search tab shows the results from PIE the search (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/IRET/PIE) , which is the specialized search engine for PPI-related article.
